We are excited to introduce our newest menu treasure – The Tropical Summer A homegrown creation by our newest team member Alit, from Bali, Indonesia.  
 
This signature beverage captures the essence of tropical paradise. Crafted with a blend of island and summer ingredients, this drink will transport you to the Island of Gods, with its harmonious blend of tropical fruits, with coconut taking centre stage.

Our Story

Constructed in the early 1900’s, the precinct was once home to one of the largest abattoirs in New South Wales. Building C, now home to Abattoir Blues, was the slaughtermen’s locker room. 

Closing in 1988, the area was redeveloped to host the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, while retaining the historical significance of the abattoir heritage precinct, metres from ANZ Stadium and the Olympic Park Train Station.

Who We Are

Andrew, together with his father Michael, and mother, Norma, operate Sydney Olympic Park’s notorious boutique diner Abattoir Blues, dedicated to serving the highest-quality comfort food with warm, friendly service. 

As a family, food has been a major part of their lives – featuring strongly in their heritage and as a central part of memorable family moments. This sense of family and warmth is served up through their offerings at Abattoir Blues bringing a unique heart and soul to the Park.
